LOS ANGELES—Fifteen people were injured in a streetcar accident Saturday night at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, authorities and the company said.
Los Angeles County Fire Department units were dispatched to the Lankershim Boulevard theme park just after 9 p.m., the department said in a social media post.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, police said.
A spokesperson for Universal Studios Hollywood confirmed in an emailed statement to The Associated Press that there were “multiple minor injuries” in the accident involving a streetcar inside the theme park.
Details of the accident were not immediately available.
The California Highway Patrol will lead the investigation, the fire department said.
