Facialist Ivan Pol, who has sculpted the faces of Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and Emma Stone with his signature Beauty Sandwich treatment and Secret Sauce serum, considers awards season his own Super Bowl. We spoke to the popular skin expert to find out what a typical day in his life looks like during this most star-studded time of the year.
6:00 The first thing I do is set my day with intention. I try to use the app to do something like a mini-meditation, whether it’s 9 minutes or 15 minutes. Next, write down your goals for the day.
7:00 am Whether I’m in LA or New York, I always start my day with Tracy Anderson’s class. If you’re traveling overseas, try Virtual Tracy Class. Tracy’s class is very important for me to do in the morning. Her class has a connection between her mind and body. She doesn’t have verbal cues so she really uses her head. I always say that I am most creative right after Tracy’s class. Because she had high endorphins, listened to great music, and worked up a sweat. The most important thing is that if you leave everything on the floor, you can start your day full of energy.
8:00am I love smoothies, so I make a beauty smoothie in the morning. With the goal of eating the rainbow, I try to include a variety of fruits each day. I vary them, but they usually include avocado, raspberries, strawberries, papaya, or whatever fresh fruit is in season. I also add pumpkin protein and flaxseed.
8:30am My morning skin care routine is very simple. After I take a cold shower, I use my secret sauce. Developing a skincare line has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I wanted to help simplify people’s routines. That’s the sauce. A one-and-end magic potion serum. It provides your face with so many essential ingredients, including omegas. If you have time, use a lima laser to push the sauce into the skin. Since it is a high vibration serum, I also use the sauce to set my mood for the day. We recreated the beauty sandwich melt massage where you warm your hands with the sauce and let it melt into your skin. It restores life to the skin and eliminates swelling. It’s a beauty sandwich treatment, but it comes in a bottle. I sometimes mix it with Chanel’s Le Lift Serum.
9:00am I’m always in line at work.of [Olsen] The twins were some of my first customers and were very generous to me as I launched the brand. I like neutrals, so it could be all navy, gray, or a combination of the two. The Row is streamlined, form-fitting and extremely comfortable. wasabi My spa and pop-up aesthetic. Lately I’ve been really into Saint Laurent and its vibe, but it’s more of an evening look. I work on my feet all day, so comfort is very important. Therefore, it must be made of beautiful fabric.
10 am Clients start at 10 o’clock and sometimes continue until late at night. I once ate a sandwich at midnight, for example at the Met Gala. On the day of the event, up to 25 faces could appear on the carpet. Fortunately, all the preparations for the day of the event are done 24-48 hours in advance with the help of his team. That way, you can simply walk in and get on with your day. We need to set the stage. All sous chefs need to be ready so they can prepare the sandwiches. One treatment time is 40 to 45 minutes. People want to come in and go out. That’s the beauty of my treatment. It can be hooked and lifted in a short time.
During treatment, I listen to the Schumann Resonance at a frequency of approximately 783 Hertz, which is the same frequency as the Earth. It’s on Spotify. This summer, I went to a famous detox clinic called Mayer in Austria. When it arrives, it is first placed on a vibrating plate set to Schumann resonance. Throughout the day, I find it important to listen to these resonances when there is a lot of energy in the room. This is always the case in my treatment. My devices are tuned to a frequency, the people I work with have a frequency, and I have a frequency. I always try to use a very grounded frequency in my treatments so that I can uplift my clients. That’s my beauty biohack to stay calm.
12pm You’re also getting electrolytes by drinking Superiel or adding Icelandic sea salt to your water instead of coffee or matcha. I keep misting my face all day long. My favorite so far is from my brand, but it’s not released yet. I always apply sauce by hand, so I use a non-toxic hand sanitizer from London-based brand Perfumer H. I love their “Orange Leaf” hand sanitizer.
2 pm To be honest, I don’t have any free time between clients. I work back to back. I drink a smoothie during my lunch break. I place great importance on hydration. During the day, we drink very clean water from the Austrian Alps called Hallstein, which comes from a very famous glacier in Austria. I try to drink about 3 liters of water a day. That’s about half a bottle per hour.
5:00pm I like to take a warm salt bath for at least 15 minutes after I finish seeing a client. A cryotherapy or cold plunge session at Remedy Place will be a wonderful way to end her day.
6 pm From Monday to Thursday, I try to eat a big breakfast and lunch, and fast for dinner. But on the day of the event, it’s difficult to do that, so I have a light dinner of protein with vegetables. I used to be a creature of habit, but I realized that I needed to eat different foods every day to maintain a healthy and diverse microbiome.
8:30pm My nightly routine starts with two sources, of course. Then, use the Limer laser again for at least 30 minutes while lying in bed with the TV on.now i love crownbut me too. rupaul’s drag race Fanatic. I like to look at something lighter at the end of the day. It’s not like a drama. housewife franchise. There are too many fights.
10pm Just before bed, I put on another resonance to really relax and do some evening meditation. I’m particular about beds because they’re so comfortable. I’m all about non-toxic mattresses. I sleep on a Hestens mattress with a silk pillowcase on top of a silk pillow. Another thing I like to do at night is use my Behmer Therapy Mat, which has amethyst crystals and infrared light to help detox and ground me. Depending on the day you spend, [might] You can sleep on it, but use it for at least 20 minutes. I spend time taking care of my dental hygiene. I love Dr. Apa products. Toothbrushes and water picks are great. The last thing to do is write down all your wins for the day. Often we are hard on ourselves and think about what went wrong instead of what went right. I think if you write down what’s working for you, you’ll attract more of it. It could be as simple as finding a parking spot.
