A quick compatibility note. Nova 7X is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and PC consoles. Nova 7p and 7 are compatible with PS and PC, but not Xbox. Other than multi-platform support and color scheme, these are all the same headphones.

SteelSeries Arcis Nova 7X is the latest successor to the highly acclaimed Arctis 7 series headsets. Just as good as its predecessor, but with some welcome additions like a USB Type-C charging port, longer battery life (38 hours versus 30 hours), simultaneous wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, and multi-platform compatibility It has been given some necessary upgrades. PC gamers also have access to the SteelSeries GG app, which opens up an entire suite of audio customizations. You can adjust audio settings for each game individually. If that’s too much, there are presets for specific games that are actually customized by game developers.
Other than that, the Nova Arctis is pretty much the same as the original Arctis. This isn’t a bad thing, as the Arctis 7 is Steelseries’ most successful gaming headset in history. This headset has significantly better build quality than the $100 official Xbox Wireless Headset. If you want an even better wireless headset, in our opinion you should step up to something like the Nova 7 Pro. The Nova 7 Pro costs $350 and falls into a completely different category.
