The film tells the story of Nike in the 1980s, specifically one man’s big bet that he could break into the basketball business in a big way by betting on a young kid named Michael Jordan.
airThe genius of this film is that it largely eschews the legend of Michael Jordan in favor of the ordinary people who were convinced he would become a star. Nike bet big on Michael Jordan, and the bet ended up paying off for both Nike and Jordan.

it’s perfect thirteen lives also supervised Apollo 13” starring Ron Howard, and while this movie isn’t as great as Howard’s best movies, it’s much better than I expected.

She is one of the most notable aspects of this movie, in addition to Teyana Taylor’s award-worthy performance in the central role, and how much she has left in viewers’ expectations of what this movie will turn out to be. This is a delightful story in many ways about the formation of a family against a backdrop of incredible poverty. It’s fascinating to see how movies change and evolve over the years, but it’s better to leave those surprises intact.
