This weekend, action and horror genres will be well represented in movie theaters across the country, with simultaneous screenings of Guy Ritchie’s films. Ministry of Ungentlemanly War And the vampire ballerina movie Abigail. (I’m not making up a second movie, it exists!) These movies have their fans, but there are a sizable number of people who would rather stay home to watch what’s streaming instead. It is not unreasonable to predict that.
Netflix, the king of streamers, always has something for everyone. And Digital Trends has handpicked three of his underrated films currently streaming on Netflix that are worth your time and attention this weekend. One is a guilty pleasure action movie, another is an underrated comedy from eight years ago, and his last one is a thriller that hasn’t been seen as much in 2020.

Anna (2019)
I’m a sucker for sleazy action movies set in Europe, so it’s no surprise that I recommend this movie. anna.Don’t get me wrong, this is not that good la femme nikita or red sparrow, the 2018 thriller that starred Jennifer Lawrence as a frequently nude assassin and was a huge hit around the world. But “Anna” has its own B-movie charm, with car chases through narrow cobbled streets, gunfights in crowded upscale restaurants, and esteemed actors like Helen Mirren and Luke Evans. With his incredible Russian accent, it’s well worth your time.
the plot is almost the same NikitaWorks: A downtrodden woman (Sasha Luz) is scouted by a shady organization ( annaKGB) to escape her terrible life. If she served faithfully for five years (i.e. killed someone), she would win her freedom. She respects her duty, but (surprisingly!) the KGB does not and tries to eliminate her. anna” director Luc Besson was also the director. Nikitaso the shameless impersonation is forgiven to some extent, and he still knows how to create good action scenes with tension, even after all these years. anna It won’t win any awards for originality, but it’s a great action movie to watch on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

How to Be Single (2016)
This movie is better than it should be.At the surface level, everything is how to be single Seems trite and unbearable: The title of Ellen’s book club sounds like a prequel to a terrible work. what to expect when you’re expectingsome of the cast are the least interesting people; And the plot came straight out of the ROM-COM factory. But the film is better than expected, smart, funny, and one of his most underrated films in the genre.
Alice (Dakota Johnson) breaks up with her long-term boyfriend and moves to New York to live with her sister Meg (Leslie Mann). Once there, she befriends her wild child Robin (Rebel Wilson) and lovesick Lucy (Alison Brie). All four women experience comic misfortune while searching for love and happiness in the Big Apple.Yes, I know, this sounds like sex and the city, but that’s not the case. Instead, the bittersweet romance is told in a humorous way, with a slightly sarcastic tone that softens the sweetness.

Inheritance (2020)
For many people, 2020 was a lost year for various reasons, so much so that it’s hard to even remember what movies were released that year. It’s a shame because there were several things missing then and now that deserve to be found.one of them inheritancea nifty little thriller about the immorally wealthy.
New York City businessman Archer Monroe (Patrick Warburton) dies, leaving behind a large inheritance to his wife (Connie Nielsen), son (Chase Crawford), and daughter Lauren (Lily Collins). Left behind. But when her father’s posthumous video confession reveals her family’s secrets, Lauren embarks on a journey to discover long-hidden secrets from her past that threaten her future. If you’re someone who likes watching rich people fight over the spoils of wealth and some totally insane plot twists; inheritance is the movie for you. Plus, we have Simon Pegg!
