Given the
Don’t walk to your nearest screen to watch this series, run away. Given the It’s got it all: a coming-of-age story, dreamy boy musicians, and a great soundtrack. There’s also the sweetest, slow-burning, and sometimes heartbreaking romance between two boys learning about themselves, how to overcome grief, and how to experience love. The ninth episode of this series will have everyone screaming with satisfaction. There’s also a sequel movie that focuses on two of the boys’ bandmates, but it’s definitely a little rushed and not as good as this 11-episode series.

Kakegurui
Kakegurui is a bizarre series set in a private school where social class is determined entirely by gambling. Although the story is told through the perspective of Ryota, a fairly bland “self-insert” male character, most of the major characters in the series are women with an erotic obsession with gambling. Although some have argued that the series oversexualizes its female characters, it has become extremely popular in queer circles as an artistic, charming, and somewhat farcical anime. It has been proven.
skip and loafers
skip and loafers It may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of LGBTQ+ anime. Ultimately, the central relationship is a heterosexual one between the intelligent but clumsy Mitsumi and the popular but elusive Sousuke. However, Mitsumi’s aunt and guardian, Nao, is a transgender woman, fashion icon, and fan-favorite character. Her rendition of Nao is surprisingly modern and fresh. This story deals with the issue of Nao’s gender identity, but doesn’t dwell on it.
