Between up-and-coming talent and established superstars that make up its talented roster, AEW has built a dynasty to be proud of. To commemorate the innovative legacy they have established in their relatively short existence, Tony Khan and his allies have named their latest PPV extravaganza “AEW Dynasty.”
The first event, which will be broadcast live from Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri on April 21, 2024, will feature many of AEW’s biggest stars and the company’s most prestigious titles. However, one of the most anticipated matches will not be for a championship and will not be contested under any special regulations. AEW Dynasty 2024 Card
Considering this may be Danielson’s last year as an active player in the squared circle, all eyes will be on Danielson’s first matchup with the Ospreys. But as exciting as the matches are, the AEW Dynasty schedule is filled with certified heavyweights. Let’s start with the AEW Tag Team Championship match. After Sting and Darby Allin won the titles and vacated them due to Icon’s retirement, a tournament was held to crown a new champion. The fields are intense, the action is brutal, especially when it comes to Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta’s Best Friends squad, who probably think their stable name is a misnomer at this point. But in the end, it was the familiar foes The Young Bucks and FTR who made it to the finals of this tournament. This will be the fourth time these two teams, arguably one of the best of their generation, have met. However, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are now up 2-1, and the Jacksons are not only determined to regain the tag team titles with the team they helped establish, but also the team they helped establish at All In London last year. They hope to avenge their losses at Wembley. Stadium, the biggest wrestling show in history. Additionally, as if the stakes weren’t high enough, this formidable tandem will also have to deal with the ladder. We don’t know what this He Four has in store for Dynasty, but it’s very likely to be something worthy of five stars.
Another intense rivalry is that between “Timeless” Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa. “La Mera Mera” was forced to relinquish her title as AEW Women’s World Champion in the fall of 2022 due to her lower back injury. Since then, Storm has won the title three times, but there’s something very different about her current run. . The highly talented competitor from Australia’s Gold Coast began channeling the glamorous starlets of Old Hollywood after falling out with former compatriots Ruby Soho and Saraya of The Outcasts When, somehow managed to take things to a whole new level. But no matter how much she sticks to her “keep your chin up, show your boobs, and watch your shoes” mantra, Storm (and her pals Luther and Mariah May) are going to have to deal with what’s to come. There’s no way you can prepare for a hurting world. From a cemetery in Tijuana, Mexico. Rosa has never lost the title and has quickly risen through the AEW women’s division ranks in pursuit of this title, recently proving that she is willing to fight tooth and nail to get her title back. But will Thunder Rosa’s relentless revenge be enough to tarnish the “timeless” golden age of Toni Storm? She may be as close as humanly possible, but ultimately it seems like Storm will remain the highest-billed woman in this promotion.
Finally, the feud between Samoa Joe and Swerve Strickland got out of hand. These two have proven that they have incredible drive and a willingness to go through unimaginable suffering in order to reach the top of the AEW mountain as world champions. I mean, how many times do we see their bodies strewn across a wrestling ring, bloody and battered? Well, at least once again, because this match is sure to highlight the thornier parts of Dynasty. Joe may be a seasoned veteran, but Swerve is hungrier than ever. If there was ever a time when he was most dangerous, it would be right then. The Mogul Embassy leader is eager for his first singles title in AEW and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. As dominant and respected as Joe has been as a champion, Strickland has the kill shot locked, loaded and ready to fire into the Samoan submission machine. The question is always “Whose house is it?” Well, after the AEW dynasty, the answer will definitively be “House of the Swerves” thanks to a new name etched into the history books as he crowns the new AEW World Champion.
