Drishyam, one of the most popular and loved suspense thriller series, has now gone global. The series’ creator announced that it has teamed up with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films for a Hollywood remake.

A little-known fact is that Drishyam has also been remade in South Korea after its success in Sinhala (Sri Lanka), Chinese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
For the unversed, Drishyam (OG Malayalam version) was first made in 2013 and starred Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles. It was remade in Hindi in 2015, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu in important roles.
