Inspired by events in creator Richard Gadd’s own life, the drama deals with some very heavy themes in a way that doesn’t necessarily provide the easiest or most comfortable viewing experience. All things considered, this isn’t necessarily the most obvious candidate for binge-watching.
But Baby Reindeer is compelling enough that many people can’t help but choose “next episode” when prompted. With just his seven short installments, some of you may already be wondering what to watch. Next.

‘The End Of The F***ing World’ and ‘Baby Reindeer’ were simply made by the same production company (Clerkenwell Films, whose films also include Netflix’s ‘Lovesick’ and Channel 4’s ‘Lovesick’). As the name suggests, the former shares some works. the offbeat humor found in the latter’s more comedic moments;
The End Of The F***ing World also stars Alex Lawther (Black Mirror, Andor) and Jessica Barden (You and Me, Pieces of Her). In its second season, Naomi Ackie (Star Wars, I want to dance with someone).
Alex plays a self-proclaimed psychopathic teen. James develops an unexpected friendship with his rebellious classmate, Alyssa, and embarks on an epic road trip through many twists and turns.
Season 2 introduces the character of Naomi. Bonnie has a troubled past and, it is later revealed, a mysterious connection to one of the original characters.
The End Of The F***ing World began life as a graphic novel and was later adapted for the small screen by Channel 4 in 2017. It has since been streamed internationally on Netflix, gaining an even bigger following. The second season will begin in 2019.
