Woot currently sells Amazon’s largest tablet, the Fire Max 11, for $140. This deal is a huge discount of $89 off list price and $37 less than the current price on Amazon. This offer applies to 64GB models with lock screen ads. However, this price does not include additional accessories such as a magnetic case, stylus, or keyboard case, all of which must be purchased separately. The lowest tablet price dropped during last year’s shopping event was $150. This puts Woot trading $10 below its all-time low. The sale will last until Sunday or until tablet supplies run out.
The Fire Max 11 features an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,000 pixels. This makes this the largest tablet Amazon has ever developed. While most of Amazon’s Fire tablets are aimed at more casual use like reading and streaming, the Fire Max 11 is positioned as a more mature option in the lineup, making it suitable for work and multitasking. Powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor, it is 50% faster than the previous generation. Combined with the available accessories, you can increase not only your entertainment but also your productivity.
However, users should note that the Fire tablet’s reliance on the Amazon App Store limits access to Google’s productivity apps. Nevertheless, the Fire Max 11 is made of aluminum, making it more robust than plastic-covered tablet devices. No wonder Amazon claims that the Fire Max 11 is “four times more durable than the iPad 10.9 (10th generation).” Additionally, when combined with the stand, the tablet enters “show mode”, emulating Amazon’s smart display and providing access to Alexa controls and features.
Other features of this tablet include Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, a pair of 8MP cameras on the front and back, a fingerprint sensor, and picture-in-picture functionality. This last feature is especially useful if you want to monitor your smart home cameras while consuming media content. The Fire Max 11 is aimed at adults for productivity, but it’s also suitable for kids, boasting 14-hour battery life, extensive parental controls, and access to an Amazon Kids+ subscription.
As I have a keen interest in technology, I always try to keep up to date with the latest developments in technology and gadgets. This includes smartphones and tablet devices, but also extends to AI and self-driving cars. The latter is my latest craze.
