Thousands of Amazon Fire Stick users have stumbled upon a little-known app packed with free movies and TV shows. The service has over 100,000 videos available to stream.
Plus, there’s no registration or sign-up required, so users can just download the app and start watching instantly. As streaming prices continue to rise, more and more people are looking for free alternatives.
Currently, Netflix starts at £4.99 a month, while Disney+ is at least £4.99. Fawesome has been around since 2017 and offers content featuring many A-list stars. Naturally, to stay free, the platform relies on ad support. Content varies by country, but it’s mostly old classics.

The app has a 3.6 out of 5 star rating on Amazon: “Tons of great movies, all categorized, not bad at all,” says one positive review.
“I was very impressed with the movies and TV shows available on the Fawesome app,” wrote another user, though others complained about the frequency of ads.
“I recently downloaded it and liked the movie selection but will probably uninstall it given the number and frequency of ads,” commented one less convinced user. “After about seven minutes of the show the ads start coming back over and over again,” claimed another.
