High Desert native and “American Idol” winner Chase Beckham returns to his roots to perform at Apple Valley’s Hilltop Tavern and Inn.
Chayce Beckham’s “Coming Home” party begins with food, drinks and dancing when the tavern doors open at 4pm on May 24th.
The party will be joined by singer Natalie Blue, a country music maven from the High Desert, followed by local favorite Chase Beckham.

Beckham told American Songwriter that he hopes to release his debut album this year. He revealed that one of the singles from the album, “This Ol’ Rodeo,” was co-written with breakout star Steven Wilson Jr.

Beckham’s roots are in the high desert
Beckham, who was born at Victor Valley Global Medical Center, told the Daily Press that he spent most of his childhood in Victorville and nearby areas of Hesperia and Apple Valley.
He attended Carmel Elementary School in Hesperia and also attended Vanguard Preparatory School and Sitting Bull Academy in Apple Valley. At the age of 12, he moved down the hill to the Inland area, where he bounced around cities in the Empire and Los Angeles counties.
Beckham attended Glendora High School and graduated in 2014 from Whitcomb High School, a continuation school in Glendora, about 54 miles east of the idol’s home in Television City, Los Angeles.
