Apple TV+ has launched a limited-time movie collection that you can stream for free as part of your Apple TV+ subscription. The company has done this from time to time in the past to coincide with the release of new, themed original work, but this is the biggest drop to date. Unfortunately, it’s only available to subscribers in the United States.
This collection includes well-known titles such as The Wolf of Wall Street, Saving Private Ryan, and Mad Max: Fury Road.
For those looking to get a back catalog of content on Apple TV+, this might be it. These movies are clearly marked as available for a limited time on Apple TV+. It will be available to stream until the end of March or the end of April. After that, the distribution ends. Moreover, these are all added to his one category within the app, so the discoverability of this content is less than ideal.
The move is likely a sign that Apple continues to experiment and ponder whether to expand its streaming service beyond an “all original” strategy.
