COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. — More than 75 celebrities will descend on the Coachella Valley for Thursday’s sold-out 14th annual Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament, which raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The tournament is scheduled to open Thursday with Songwriter Night at the JW Marriott Desert Springs, 74-855 Country Club Drive. Starring Eric Pasley, Win Varble, Brett James, Rivers Rutherford, and Tim Nichols.

Tournament officials said the event will be held Friday at the same venue as the “Rainypalooza Jam,” featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members such as Alice Cooper, Don Felder, Mike Mills and Jeff “Skunk” Baxter. is scheduled to appear. A surprise guest is also planned.
The celebrity golf tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Classic Club and Desert Willow. Celebrities scheduled to appear include Chris McDonald, Sam McMurray, Kevin Rahm, Gregory Harrison, David Leisure, Sterling Sharpe and U.S. Senate candidate Steve Garvey.
Warburton, 59, is best known for his recurring roles as David Paddy on Seinfeld and as the voice of Joe Swanson on Family Guy.
The annual golf tournament, which raised $4.7 million last year, has raised more than $26.6 million to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since its inception.
