One notable difference between this year’s and last year’s homes is the addition of gold stars to the walls and furniture in rooms throughout the home.
The new season, which launches on ITV1 and ITVX on Monday 4 March, will once again be hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, with the cast officially announced live on the night.
None of the celebrities taking part have been officially revealed, but some of the celebrities who will be seen by viewers include Nikita Kuzmin from Strictly Come Dancing, Sharon Osbourne from The X Factor, Louis Walsh and Love Island. There is speculation that Ekin-Su Chulturolle may be included.

Speaking to RadioTimes.com and other press ahead of the show’s start, Odudu and Best have already revealed that, unlike last year’s regular Big Brother show, there will be two regular live evictions per week.
Best said, “Time doubles,” and Odudu said: “In the last series, every time I was thinking, ‘Oh my God.’ A week felt like a lifetime. Whereas now, [it’s] Midweek.”
Last year’s Big Brother season featured a pre-recorded launch show, but this year the celebrity version returned to a live launch format, which Odudu said was due to fan demand.
She said: “It’s so exciting that the launch show will be broadcast live. Big Brother fans wanted it to be live. They said, ‘Listen, let’s watch AJ and Will do five minutes.’ It felt like that,” he said.
Celebrity Big Brother starts on Monday 4th March at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
