The Celebrity Big Brother winner revealed that cast members are allowed to bring personal items into the house.
Alex Reid, who won CBB in 2010, said that when housemates are desperate for something, producers ask them to do secret tasks, but the barter between BB and the star is not caught on camera. He said no.
The TV star was in the house with the likes of Vinnie Jones and Dane Bowers.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Alex said: “When people got on each other’s nerves and the rifts started to show around the third week… they allowed me to take the punching bag.
“I would spend an hour in the diary room hitting a punching bag, doing weight training, doing push-ups and shadow boxing. So when I wasn’t working, I was either resting or eating. ”
Alex added: “If I ever needed anything, Big Brother was very accommodating and helped me get it.
“It obviously depends on what it is.
“And it’s a good influence because it makes you do something. So if you really want this, you want a punching bag? You have to do this to get it. .
“I’m sure you did something terrible to get that punching bag.”
Alex was married to former glamor model Katie Price from 2010 to 2012.
CBB is scheduled to make a comeback next Monday at 9pm.
AJ Odudu and Will Best, who announced the Big Brother reboot late last year, will also return as hosts of the celebrity spin-off show.
The Sun has revealed some of the big names set to join the iconic house, but there are also some interesting rumors about other potential participants.
Coronation Street’s Colson Smith is rumored to be joining the line-up, with insiders saying they are confident he will go all the way.
The X Factor’s Louis Walsh, Love Island’s Ekin Soo Çulturoglu and Towie’s Chloe Brockett are also some of the celebs rumored to be joining the famous pad.
