Some mothers take their daughters to the movies. Some people prefer a less stressful trip to Sephora. But if you’re Charlize Theron, there’s her secret third option for spending a little quality time with your kids. It’s a front row seat to the latest Dior fashion show.
On Monday night, Theron was photographed holding hands with her daughter August as they headed to the Brooklyn Museum to browse Dior’s Pre-Fall collection. The 7-year-old boy was reportedly wearing a Dior letterman jacket, Dior socks and a $3,400 Micro Lady Dior handbag. Page 6. Theron, who is a Dior ambassador, wore a maxi skirt and sunglasses indoors. Afterwards, they sat in the front row and watched models parade down the runway wearing Dior’s latest designs. Sitting in the front row were Alexandra Daddario, Naomi Watts, Michelle Williams, Rachel Zegler, Herrin and Anya Taylor-Joy. A very casual night out for mom’s little helper.
The ordeal of sitting in the front row with mom at a fashion show is apparently becoming a regular tradition for Theron, who took her 11-year-old daughter Jackson to the Dior show during Paris Fashion Week last September. . Just like in August, Jackson wore Dior shoes and a matching red plaid set. And if this is how the Theron girls dressed before they hit their full twenties, we’ll see what these fashionista apprentices look like when they graduate to the major leagues. I can’t wait. Meanwhile, if I were August or Jackson, I’d be bragging on the elementary school playground during recess.
