The Public Safety Awards will be held once again in the City of West Hollywood.City invites area residents to participate in his 2024 event public safety award & Luncheon is the city’s celebration and recognition of organizational partners in public safety organizations who have made significant efforts to improve community safety in West Hollywood. The last public safety award ceremony was held in 2019.
The Public Safety Awards and Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. in the City of West Hollywood City Council Chambers/Public Conference Room, 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard. Lunch will be served in the auto court area outside the chamber, followed by an awards ceremony inside the chamber. Admission is free. No RSVP is required. Limited parking is available inside his five-story building next door, accessed through the El Tovar Place entrance off North Robertson Boulevard.
This year, the City of West Hollywood will award public safety awards to three recipients. The three organizations honored will be members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s West Hollywood Station, Los Angeles County Fire Department Stations 7 and 8, and the West Hollywood Block Security Ambassadors.
These honorees have gone above and beyond in public safety programs and events, and have strengthened their partnerships with their communities. The Department of Public Safety oversees law enforcement and coordinates community programs to reduce crime and improve public safety and quality of life for citizens, businesses, and visitors to West Hollywood.
