NEW ORLEANS – Crescent City Sports’ live streaming coverage of high school sports will continue Thursday with coverage of the District 9-5A track and field championships from Tad Gormley Stadium.
Coverage will begin just before the running event begins at 5:30 p.m., with CCS head coach Lenny Van Gilder and Newman head coach Mark Fariveno providing coverage of the game.
This is the second year in a row that CCS will broadcast Catholic League games.
Last year, Jesuit built a lead in the field and distance events, holding off John Curtis for the men’s title, and Mount Carmel had a convincing victory over Edna Carr for the women’s title.
The Crescent City sports team is in its 13th season of producing live broadcasts for television and the Internet, has produced nearly 500 live streams since 2012, and plans to provide live sports coverage on its website in 2023-2024. We continue our extensive efforts to prepare. All written and video content on CCS is always free and does not require a subscription.
