The screenplay is based on a short story by Chandler Baker published by Amazon Original Stories, and Showalter and Baker wrote the full-length screenplay.
Showalter is producing the film through a semi-formal production with Jordana Mollick, Tribeca’s Berry Welsh and Jane Rosenthal, and Kate Churchill.
The team plans to begin production in Atlanta in late May.
