Meghan was reportedly humiliated because the celebrity chef “found comparisons to her annoying and insulting.” The Duchess of Sussex is set to launch her new cooking show on Netflix later this year, according to Meghan and Harry’s new website Sussex.com.
The website claims the series will “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship.”
This will coincide with Meghan’s new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, selling products such as jam, crockery and cutlery.
Celebrity chef Martha Stewart, 82, reportedly finds comparisons to the Duchess of Sussex “frustrating and insulting”.
A source claims to In Touch: “Martha has seen hundreds of Meghan types come and go, all of them coming with the same self-aggrandizement and hype, but ultimately ending up with the brass.” When it comes to tackling, he finds it’s a whole new ball game.”
“She’s tired of people asking her what she thinks of Meghan’s business because, honestly, it’s frustrating and insulting to see her being compared to newbies! ”
But this isn’t the first time Stewart has faced off against a competitor.
The chef became interested in Goop guru Gwyneth Paltrow in 2014.
Ms Stewart accused the Oscar winner, 51, of trying to emulate her, saying: “She should just shut up.
“She’s a movie star. If she was confident in her acting skills, she wouldn’t try to be Martha Stewart!”
The official added: “Martha has spent decades building her personal brand on the foundation of her raw talent, her hands-on hard work, and her unique vision.
“If Meghan thinks she can replicate that with little experience just because she’s married to a prince, she should think again.
“Martha doesn’t really believe in her success.
“But if she turns out to be a contender, Martha won’t hesitate to beat her.
“She’s still as competitive as ever!”
