Duchess Meghan’s friend Abigail Spencer celebrates lifestyle brand with Duchess’ dog

Meghan Markle’s longtime friend and Suits co-star Abigail Spencer has joined an exclusive list of 50 people to receive a jar of jam from the royal family’s new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Spencer, who struck up a friendship with the Duchess of Sussex on the set of the hit legal drama in 2011, shared a special message from his girlfriend on Instagram.

“This jam is my jam,” Spencer, 42, captioned the Instagram post, which featured a photo of her posing with jam in a bowl full of lemons. “It’s really a delicious taste that’s about to happen… I love you so much, M🍓🌱🍋🫶🏽”

In a series of snaps, the actress, who plays lawyer Dana ‘Scotty’ Scott on the hit TV show, can be seen soaking up some orchids in the grass while holding the latest product dropped by a friend.

It didn’t take long for eagle-eyed observers to realize that the puppy Spencer was lounging with belonged to none other than Markle and her husband, Prince Harry.

Fans flooded the comments section, commenting on the striking similarities between the dog and the Sussexes’ dogs, two beagles named Guy that Markle adopted in 2015 and Mamma Mia, who she adopted in 2022. pointed out.

Markle spent much of last week shipping jars of strawberry jam from her new lifestyle brand, which is due to launch later this year.

The mother of two sent lemon-filled gift baskets filled with fresh fruit jam to 50 of her friends ahead of the brand’s official launch.

Mindy Kaling and Tracee Ellis Ross, award-winning actresses and friends of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were two of the few people to receive jam jars from Markle.

Designer Tracy Robbins and Delfina Braquier, an Argentinian model and wife of Prince Harry’s best friend and polo player Nacho Figueras, each received Markle’s strawberry jelly.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, announced her passion project to the world last month.

A source close to the royal family said the brand was named after Santa Barbara, California, which has been affectionately known as the “American Riviera” for more than a century.

This place is also where she and her husband live with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Spencer’s post comes just days after she teamed up with Markle and her best friend Kelly McKee Zadifen to show off a graphic T-shirt they wore to support foster care charities.

The three were all smiles as they posed for a photo together on the lawn, which Spencer later shared with her 822,000 followers on the platform.
