Wildfires pose a serious threat to life and property and are one of the most dangerous challenges facing firefighting personnel. While these disasters were once limited to specific seasons in a few problem spots across the country, times have changed dramatically and wildfires are now a year-round threat in many regions. . Early extinguishing of fires before they spread is critical and can make a dramatic difference to the level of resources needed and the danger posed to firefighters.
The company's established and recognized technology, called Pano AI, uses ultra-high resolution 360-degree cameras combined with artificial intelligence to help detect wildfires long before they become catastrophic events. The system continuously searches the landscape for the first wisp of smoke. This technology pinpoints a specific location or orientation and alerts first responders within minutes after smoke is first seen. Pano uses T-Mobile's 5G technology to minimize latency and increase connection speeds, helping reduce detection times. T-Mobile also provides priority access to data, which can be helpful during times of network congestion.
This webinar provides practical information about the solutions developed by Pano AI and insight into how T-Mobile for Government supports Pano AI's firefighting efforts. Use cases from the firefighting community will be shared highlighting how Pano is making a difference.
