Flux, a global infrastructure provider of cloud hosting, artificial intelligence, and technology-enabled distributed solutions products and services, today announced the release of FluxCore beta.
This release marks the successful completion of the application and exit from the alpha trial phase that began on December 15, 2023.
FluxCore is an innovative proof of Useful Work) client application. This application provides an essential framework for his Flux Proof of Useful Work approach to computational power.
Our solution bridges the infrastructure gap by allowing users to benchmark their machines and seamlessly offer underutilized GPU resources on the FluxEdge marketplace. Clients can then make full use of these resources for video rendering, cloud gaming, AI, and other compute-intensive needs. Mining his module is also integrated into the application, giving users the option to mine crypto assets directly on their own machines, whenever they are not being used for customer rental.
Based on user feedback from the first alpha version, the FluxCore beta includes upgrades such as dark mode, console access, customized overclocking settings for individual GPUs, and support for new AMD and NVIDIA GPUs. CPU mining is also now supported in his FluxCore, and users can switch between CPU/GPU mining modes via the updated mining overview tab. All other upgrade patches to FluxCore Alpha will also be fully available in FluxCore Beta. To download the FluxCore application, please visit his LeaderBoard at https://leaderboard.fluxcore.ai/.
“FluxCore provides an important solution to current scalability dilemmas that pose real threats and can limit the huge potential of emerging technologies such as AI and other compute-intensive projects. The software leverages GPU and CPU resources available on the market and makes them available to clients who need them most. In alpha, there are over 19,000 benchmarks spanning 5,217 GPUs (and growing). , with over 3,000 machines actively participating. Today, we’re excited to announce the release of FluxCore beta, a more robust and optimized model that transforms the way we approach compute power. With FluxCore, we plan to redefine the future by making computing resources available and accessible through decentralized channels.” —Daniel Keller, CEO and Co-Founder of Influx Technologies Limited.
About flux
Flux Web3 Cloud is a distributed computing service and blockchain-as-a-service solution that provides an interoperable distributed development environment similar to AWS and Google Cloud. Flux leverages its native POW (Proof-of-Work) coin to power this ecosystem, mitigating fraud with hardware hosters, on-chain governance, and staking requirements for running hardware. provide incentives for The Flux operating system runs on Linux and provides verified and benchmarked, highly available computing power to the network, leveraging blockchain to ensure transparency in governance operations. Flux Cloud is the world’s broadest and most decentralized cloud infrastructure.
