But I remember trying the salmon soup. It’s still my favorite soup. Needless to say, the Finnish winter landscape was stunningly beautiful.
One of the most interesting takeaways from Alex’s presentation was that some iconic brands such as IT company Linux and games such as Angry Birds and Clash of Clans were born in Finland. It’s a very nice country and definitely worth visiting!
It was also interesting to watch the movie “Les Visiteurs”. This is the story of a 12th century French knight and his retinue who accidentally travel back in time to the present day. You can see a lot of French culture in this movie and it was interesting to see how ancient people envisioned life as it is now. Despite their ancient French assumptions, they accepted everything without fuss. Although I had many troubles with my host family, my current life in France was supposed to be fun, but I was disappointed that I had to go back to my old life.
