Some Windows 11 users have recently reported an annoying glitch where the taskbar takes a very long time to appear on the desktop when the system first boots. But the good news is that a fix is currently being tested.
BetaNews reported on the cure appearing in the beta channel of Windows 11 testing (build 22635), but also noted that this bug actually affects HP EliteBook laptops. In their case, the taskbar was not visible for a few seconds, sometimes even longer.
It’s not the end of the world, as it’s a bug, but it’s a bit annoying, especially when what you want to do in the first place can be easily done from the taskbar (you might have the same icon on the taskbar, but this It’s not impossible). (In some cases, even the desktop).
In any case, the beta fix is currently in place. Microsoft said it “fixed an issue that caused the taskbar to display very slowly after the first startup and login.”
This issue is currently resolved in beta, so it won’t be long before it appears in the final version of Windows 11. We can expect a fix, probably in the next month (though it might only be in a public preview update). Computing Public).
Another issue related to the taskbar has also been resolved that affected Windows 11 users whose bar was almost full of app icons, causing the search box to stop working.
Microsoft says that when a user clicks within a search, the search opens, but quickly closes, making it less useful. However, this fix is included in this beta build and is expected to make it into the pipeline as well as the solution to the slow taskbar display issue.
