The African American Achievers Youth Corps will hold its 9th annual “Celebrity Sing-Off” featuring area celebrities on Saturday, April 20th at 6 p.m. at the Glen Theater (20 West Ridge Road) in Gary. . Dr. Vernon G. Smith, Chairman of the AAAYC Board of Directors, said the event will feature elected officials and leaders from across Gary and Northwest Indiana.
