*Not really, guys.
With rumors circulating that Travis Kelce is considering proposing to Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end might want to get down on one knee quickly…
…Because it looks like he has some new competition.
In a video shared on Instagram, veteran actor Sam Heughan, best known for his starring role in Starz’s smash hit “Outlander,” appeared on the set of the time-travel drama this week in full costume, revealing that the cast will be attending Swift’s upcoming concert.
“I’m going to see Taylor Swift in Scotland and I think most of the cast is going,” he said as her 2017 Reputation hit, “…Ready for It?”, played in the background.
Added the handsome star:
“Obviously she doesn’t know, but when she comes to Scotland and sees me in the audience she’ll forget all about him.”
Heughan is just joking here, referring to Kelsey.
The three-time Super Bowl champion famously won over the popular artist last summer when he unsuccessfully tried to give her his phone number on a friendship bracelet during a tour stop in Kansas City, Missouri, and then publicly slammed her on his podcast, “New Heights,” just days afterward.
Hence one user’s hilarious response to Heughan’s upload.
“Sam, get her a friendship bracelet. Apparently that works,” the person joked.
At the moment, it feels like that’s not going to work out. Travis and Taylor are very serious about each other.
Just a few days ago, Kelsey wouldn’t even deny that she’d ever considered marrying the singer.
Kelsey took to the stage at the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend Charity Event in Kansas City last weekend.
Also in attendance at the event was Jason Sudeikis, who plays fictional football coach Ted Lasso.
“Look, Travis, let’s be honest. Look, this is just the guys here. When are you going to make her into an honest woman?” Sudeikis asked the athlete.
Kelsey rubbed his beard and smiled as the crowd cheered and yelled. He said nothing.
But we have heard that actions speak louder than words.
And diamonds are a girl’s best friend. We’re just saying that, Trav.
Something to keep in mind.
