Sydney’s Long Chim is coming to Canberra for two nights only
Famous restaurants in Sydney long chim take over the kitchen with 86 north “Electric Bangkok Street Food” will be held on June 14th and 15th for two nights.
Across 10 dishes, taste the dishes that made Long Chim’s David Thompson famous, with classics like crispy barramundi and lemongrass salad, sweet and sticky moobin, miang kam and pork pineapple curry can do. Hmm.

Oh my gosh, the wine and cheese market is starting.
Finally, someone has finally done the right thing and is hosting a wine and cheese market in Canberra.
That person is The Vault. The company hosts a variety of cool events during the winter at its huge warehouse on Dairy Road (right behind Capital Brewing Company), including: Woozy Boozy Wine & Cheese Market From June 7th to 10th.
Tickets are on sale now. This includes both wine and cheese tastings (!!!) and a souvenir wine glass.

city restaurant Temporada says Adios After 10 years in business, to send it off in style, owner Dave Young has been cooking up some of his favorite throwback dishes for the past month (including the seriously delicious burger pictured above).
The final service is this Saturday, May 18th, so if you haven’t heard the news until now (and haven’t read our founder Amanda’s cute article about it, for example), put on your skates! please!

Chin Chin team presents Carlotta
In very delicious food news, it has been revealed that Lucas Restaurant, famous for Chin Chin, Baby, Kisume, Chin Chin Sydney and Hawker Hall, will soon be bringing its signature atmosphere to Canberra in the form of a Mediterranean restaurant . carlotta.
The 120-seater venue is located in Scott’s Crossing on Vanda Street in the city (opposite Anita Gelato), and the menu focuses on Mediterranean cuisine with a nod to traditional Italian trattorias.

Goodbye Brunello, hello Azima
Sad news, but gorgeous Italian restaurant and wine bar brunello This Sunday, May 19th, will be the last day, and we will soon say goodbye to City Walk.
A Middle Eastern restaurant will open in its place Ajima. Brunello socialites say it’s not a sad farewell, but it’s sad to see such a great establishment close.
But when the wine bar closes, the restaurant opens, and we look forward to welcoming Azima on site.

Don’t be picky, live seafood is here
natural nine, Casino Canberra’s very delicious Pop Chinese Restaurant served up the biggie (claws) with a live seafood menu over Easter. And it turned out to be so popular that they decided to keep it.
Now, you can order live mud crab and rock lobster from the menu seven days a week, served with an array of decadent sauces including chili garlic, Chinese salt and pepper, and ginger and shallot.

Mr Lim Peh – an incredible pop-up serving delicious Singaporean food – has announced that May will be its last month at Verity Lane Market. And yes, we are devastated.

Fresh Korean barbecue perfect for winter has arrived in town
Gaon Korean BBQ has landed in a trendy spot in Sydneyville. All we can say is, “Come Sam Nida!””. Gaon may have only been open for a little while, but it has 20 5-star reviews on Google, so naturally I decided to give it a try.
While you wait for our review (which involves all the shenanigans you’d expect from four KBBQ newbies using the grill for the first time), don’t sleep on your reservation for a cozy winter catch-up. We predict this will become popular soon (yes, there’s a lot of soju).

lolo and lola We’ve done it again – we’ve introduced a brand new food that had Cheesemania’s deputy editor Emma McDonald almost dropping her phone in excitement. It’s Filipino queso (cheese) soft serve ice cream. you read that correctly. And it really is the best of both worlds…unless you are lactose intolerant. sorry.
Although we haven’t tried it yet, we predict it will be the perfect creamy, cheesy treat for anyone who dreams of having cheese at every meal, including dessert. If that’s not enough for you, you can also order ube soft serve ice cream. If you’re unsure, you can also combine flavors.
