Spotted: “Gossip Girl” alum Ed Westwick and fellow actor Amy Jackson engage in a romantic adventure thousands of feet in the air over the Swiss Alps.
The British actor proposed to the “Supergirl” star during a ski trip in Gstaad, Switzerland, popping the question atop the snow-covered suspension bridge Peak Walk.
The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Monday. Jackson, 31, captioned a photo of the high-altitude proposal: “Sure yes 💍,” while Westwick, 36, wrote “hit the jackpot xxx” on the photo and reposted it to her Instagram Story.
Representatives for Mr. Westwick and Mr. Jackson did not immediately respond to requests for further comment Monday.
The proposal comes as the pair work on their latest projects, Westwick's action thriller Deep Fear, which debuted on Netflix last year, and the upcoming horror thriller Dark Game. Jackson stars in the Hindi sports action film Crakk.
According to People magazine, Westwick and the Thandavam star first met at Silverstone Racecourse in 2021. He asked her out on a double date.
