Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about the sacrifices she has made as a mother of two.
during an interview with Today with Hoda and JennaZanna Roberts Lassi says Paltrow’s mother, actress Blythe Danner, “give up some great roles” to support her family, and the actress-turned-health guru did the same. I wondered if this was the case.
“A lot has happened,” admitted the Oscar winner, who shares daughter Apple, 19, and son Moses, 18, with ex-husband Chris Martin. She is currently married to Brad Falchuk.
“It’s funny because at the time it didn’t feel like a sacrifice to me, but when I look back through a cultural lens, I think it would be amazing if people knew I didn’t make this movie. “I think they’ll be pretty shocked if they see that movie,” she added.
Paltrow has appeared in quite a few films throughout her career as an actress. iron man franchise, Shakespeare in love and sliding doorwhen she had children, she became more selective in choosing her roles.
Goop founder said: people magazine in November 2023, she said she hasn’t acted in a movie since before her daughter was born.
“Well, it’s kind of ironic, because when Apple came along, I was really out of acting,” she said at the time. “The last time I was in every scene in a movie was when I was pregnant with her. When I had her, it felt like everything was redefined for me and I thought, ‘Do I really want to do this as a career? I don’t know,’ I thought. I absolutely hate it…I have no intention of leaving my house for months on end. ”
While Paltrow is busy with other commitments, she recently told Roberts Russi that the idea of returning to a movie set is “absolutely not.”
