Ann Arbor, Michigan – “Barbie,” “Napolean Dynamite” and “Little Shop of Horrors” are among the free movies showing in downtown Ann Arbor this summer.
These films are part of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival’s Outdoor Movies by Moonlight series, offered during the Top of the Park event June 18-30. Each will be shown on the big screen on the Rackham Stage.
The show begins at 9:30 p.m. However, “Barbie” starts at 10 p.m.
This year, in partnership with the Cinetopia Film Festival, movie buffs will have a special treat with two silent films screening at the Mendelssohn Theater.
These ticketed movies cost $16 or $13 for Marquee Arts members (formerly Michigan Theater Foundation). Tickets go on sale May 17th.
Each silent film is accompanied by live music.
The Ann Arbor Summer Festival features more than 20 activities, performances, concerts, art exhibits, and film screenings in downtown Ann Arbor from June 14-30. The complete season of festivals will be announced on May 2nd.
