LOS ANGELES, CA, Feb. 29, 2024 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Firefighters’ job is to save lives. These are the men and women who provide fire protection and rescue. They fight fires across the city, as well as the infamous wildfires and wildfires in Los Angeles. They are also ambulance drivers, paramedics, and paramedics who provide emergency medical responses. And they do it every day and night all year round. Hollywood Village is a partnership between the Church of Scientology, the Pathway to Happiness Foundation, the Los Angeles Police Department, local businesses, and numerous faith-based and neighborhood organizations dedicated to ensuring Hollywood is beautiful, safe, and clean. . So when Hollywood Village volunteers learned that Los Angeles Fire Department 76 needed help with a project, they were eager to help.

Fire Station 76 is located just north of the Hollywood Bowl, south of Universal CityWalk, and off the Hollywood Freeway. This fire station required some attention as it undergoes a lot of wear and tear. While crews have been slowly making progress on renovating the interior, the fire chief knew they would need some help renovating the exterior. Under the direction of a landscape designer, Hollywood Village volunteers worked with firefighters. The difference between before and after the treatment was impressive.
Together, they trimmed and disposed of years of overgrown grass, dead shrubs, roots and weeds, and spruced up the lawn and flower boxes. After a lot of hard work, we now have a new, well-maintained and bright landscape around the fire station.
Hollywood Village volunteers live by these precepts: the road to happiness, A secular moral code based entirely on common sense. Author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard wrote this book in 1981 to halt society’s moral decline and restore integrity and trust. His 21 fundamental principles or lessons in this book are a simple guide that people of all cultures and creeds can apply to improve the quality of their lives and that of others.
When cleaning, Hollywood Village has established several precepts: road to happiness Practice: Lesson 6, Set a Good Example. Lesson 12: Protect and improve the environment. Lesson 16: Be diligent. And lesson number 20, treat others as you would want them to treat you.
Not only did they achieve what they intended, but they also created new friendships. And the completed project brought as much joy to the volunteers as it did to the men and women of the fire department.
