Johnny Wactor’s funeral arrangements general Hospital Starr was shot and killed.
The 37-year-old soap opera actor was killed in downtown Los Angeles while walking to his car with a co-worker when three masked thieves shot him in the chest as they were trying to steal car parts. Johnny died trying to protect the female co-worker who was with him.
Arrangements have been made to transport Johnny to his mother in South Carolina, and funeral arrangements have been made and details are being released by his family.

According to the late actor’s death certificate, TMZJohnny Wactor’s body was cremated and then transferred to his mother, Scarlett.
After Johnny was murdered in Los Angeles, his family expressed a desire for his body to be sent to South Carolina.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Summerville, South Carolina, where Johnny grew up. His mother and most of his family still live there.
His brother Grant initially posted updates on his social media accounts, while his mother shared information about a GoFundMe page called “Justice for Johnny” on her Instagram.
Meanwhile, his mother Fox News Anita Joy, a colleague whom Johnny protected in his final moments, will be attending the funeral. “I’m happy to see her and to see her again,” Scarlett told the outlet.
Scarlett added that friends from Wachter’s theater company in Los Angeles are also planning a private memorial for Wachter that will be closed to press and fans, and that she would like to attend if possible.

At the same time as the funeral announcement, Johnny’s official obituary was also published, along with the funeral home where the funeral will take place.
“His loss will be felt by his family, close friends and fans around the world,” the obituary read, which spoke to his family, his community and all the ways he found a way to give back to society.
“Johnny gave of his time and energy to many in need and recognized the importance of serving his community, most recently reading Dr. Seuss picture books at a local Los Angeles elementary school and baking and distributing sandwiches to the homeless during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also protested with fellow actors during the Writers Strike,” the obituary continued.
The obituary also described him as “a man full of charm and humility,” and concluded by citing the simple things he loved in life and requests from his family.
“Johnny continues to be an example of standing up for his beliefs and living life with uncompromising integrity and courage. He found solace and peace climbing mountains with his loving family, being a proud big brother to Lance and Grant, spending time with his sons, talking and playing with his mother, and always being outside in nature.”
“Johnny’s love will be remembered and felt by all. He leaves a lasting mark on this world… The family asks that everyone pray for the immediate arrest, conviction and severe punishment of the three masked killers.”
