UMass:
The Minutemen defeated George Washington 69-57 on Tuesday for their 18th win of the season. This is the most wins since the team went 24-9 and last made it to the NCAA Tournament in 2013-2014.
The Minutemen have the best scoring offense in the A10 with 78.8 points per game and rank second in the conference in both steals per game (8.1) and fast-break points per game (12.6).
Davidson:
The Wildcats suffered a second straight loss with an 80-66 loss to No. 21 Dayton on Tuesday, but will look to bounce back on Saturday. Davidson is 5-10 against A10 opponents this season, but has historically dominated the Minutemen. Over the past 10 seasons, Davidson is 8-1 against Massachusetts and 4-0 at home.
Saturday’s matchup will be the first and only regular season matchup between the two schools this year.
