Big Brother star Skye Wheatley is tipped to be the likely winner of this year’s season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.
And in one of the biggest hints so far, Daily Mail Australia reports that Skye’s husband Lachlan Waugh and their two children, Forrest and Bear, arrived at Gold Coast Airport this week on a flight to South Africa. It can be revealed that he was seen boarding the aircraft.
A source close to the production exclusively revealed that the influencer’s appearance on the show was carefully planned.
Sources said the reality TV star was guaranteed a spot in the finale.
“Skye was initially hesitant to take part in this grueling challenge. But she was promised a good chance to win and advance to the finale,” a source said.
“This was too good an opportunity to pass up.”
But Sky isn’t the only star to have made special arrangements with the show’s producers.
Hollywood actor Frankie Muniz has apparently signed a deal to spend three weeks in the wild.
“Frankie was keen to leave as soon as the agreed time was up and was willing to trade the hardships of the jungle for comfort,” the source added.
Officials also revealed that Dennis Drysdale is also guaranteed certain benefits and a spot in the finale.
However, despite these supposed guarantees, Drysdale became the first contestant to leave the jungle.
This comes after Brittany Hockley and Ellie Cole narrowly missed out on Sunday night’s finale after being sent home in the final loss of the 2024 series.
