I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia came to a thrilling close on Sunday night as the fan favorite took home the title in the grand finale.
The final two remaining were Irish TV presenter Tristan McManus and Australian influencer Skye Wheatley.
In the end, Skye was crowned Queen of the Jungle after an “incredibly close” public vote.
She also won $100,000 for her charity of choice, Bully Zero.
The social media star was so moved by her win that she broke down in tears as she reflected on her time on the show.
“I’m really happy to have experienced that. Thank you to everyone here for having me,” she said.
“I’m just shocked. I’ll say it again – to be able to have this opportunity and go through what I went through and do it for these three amazing boys and the rest of the world. , I feel really happy…
“I feel like the whole journey, the whole experience has taught me a lot. I can’t wait to apply these things to my daily life.”
The former Big Brother Australia star added: “I felt like I could be myself forever.”
“I mean, there’s always something going on. You’re thrown into situations you never could have imagined,” she continued.
“I mean, it’s just your pure reaction when you’re there and you’re like, oh my gosh, what’s going on!”
“There were different energies I’ve felt, happy, scared, high, low, high, and everything in between.”
Meanwhile, Tristan said he learned a lot about himself through the process.
“I loved it from start to finish. I told everyone that while we are here we have to make a conscious decision to be positive, stay positive and develop good habits. I didn’t,” he said.
“Everything got to me. I was stressed and noticed how I was reacting to things in the house. I made a conscious effort.
“If it wasn’t for my campmates, I don’t think it would have worked out as well. I and my family were lucky that everyone pitched in.”
Third place went to Love Island star Callum Hall, who was playing for his chosen charity Movember.
“I don’t think men’s mental health is talked about enough, but I think all the work that’s being done across the country on men’s mental health, especially Movember, and from children to adults to men, all ages. What did I mean? “They’re doing a great job,” he said.
The adorable larrikin from Wales said of his time in the jungle that it was the best time of his life.
“I can’t pick a single highlight. Every day was like something new. It was so much fun from start to finish.”
“You can’t pick a winner. I feel like everyone who took part in this experience is a winner in their own right, and Skye and Tristan are no different.”
