I’m currently stocking up on the expensive-looking shorts I wore in Curacao.

I had so much fun stocking up on summer clothes for a short trip to Curaçao in January. It also reminded me that I have to do some serious shopping once the weather warms up. My closet was in desperate need of easy maxi dresses, breezy pants, t-shirts, tank tops, and most importantly, shorts. However, on this trip, I was able to shop for some pairs ahead of the change of seasons, and I fell in love with Hotouch’s shorts at first sight. Made from a lightweight, non-see-through polyester blend, it features a high-waisted design, a hem that sits a few inches above the knee (depending on your height), and a snug fit that flows outward at the waist for a more snug fit. It provides a refreshing feel. fit. These shorts have two spacious side seam pockets, a classic button and zip closure, belt loops, and elastic along the back waistband for a comfortable fit.

Bermuda-style shorts can be a little divisive, but the length and cut of these shorts are timeless. It stops a few inches short of your knees and doesn’t cling or rub against your inner thighs. It has roomy pockets that can fit my larger iPhone and wallet, it stays true to the site’s size measurements, and I love that it has a little extra room around the stomach thanks to the elastic waist. Plus, it has a traditional front closure that makes it look more expensive than it actually is, and it also has belt loops, which I don’t think many other styles have.

I have white, red, and navy shorts, but the shades are the same as shown online. Plus, they won’t fade even after you wear them to the beach and wash them. It was a little wrinkled when I first got it out of the mail, but it didn’t shrink after I washed it and let it air dry, and it didn’t wrinkle even after I packed it up, lounged around it, and walked around. I paired these shorts with a tank top and an off-the-shoulder sweater, and topped them with a baseball cap over my favorite Adidas sunbaths all vacation long.
