NBC Sports YouTube Channel and peacock We will be broadcasting the final round of the ISA World Surfing Games live on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
The World Surfing Games in Puerto Rico will be the final qualifying event for the Paris Olympics, where surfing competitions will be held off the coast of Tahiti in July.
As of Saturday’s start, Americans Carissa Moore (Tokyo Olympic gold medalist) and Caroline Marks (2023 world champion) were still among the contenders for the women’s World Surfing Games title.
Moore and Marks, along with fellow American Katie Simmers, have already qualified for the Olympics through their 2023 World Surf League season results.
All Americans have been eliminated from the men’s division of the World Surfing Games.
The men’s competition will be headlined by three-time world champion Gabriel Medina of Brazil, who missed out on qualifying for the Olympics last year but could qualify if Brazil wins the team event at the World Surfing Games.
The 2024 U.S. Olympic Team roster will be updated as they qualify.
