Jones Hollywood Cafe officially reopened Thursday night at 7141 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. A car crashed into the restaurant in November 2023, forcing it to close for just over three months.
The iconic restaurant, which has been a staple of Hollywood’s dining scene for nearly 30 years, was packed Thursday night with diners enjoying dinner and crowding around the bar area.Doors opened at 7 p.m.

The restaurant held a fundraiser in solidarity with Jones, with supporters lining up outside the employee-only area all night.

Additionally, West Hollywood Mayor John Erickson later recognized Jones Hollywood staff with Employees Only in a statement during a West Hollywood Council meeting.
Employees say structural damage is still present and will take months to repair. However, the facade of the building is covered with plywood, so the blinds remain closed, but the interior is like new.
Although the main dining area reopened Thursday night, the cafe section of Jones Hollywood will remain closed due to structural issues caused by the accident.
