The anime “Kaiju No. 8” has released a preview of episode 2, which is scheduled to air on Saturday, April 20th. Last week’s premiere did a great job setting the stage, and it looks like it’s going to be a wild ride with lots of action scenes.
Kafka and Reno escape from the hospital and look for an exit. He encounters a parent and child being attacked by a monster and ends up getting caught up in it.
As previously announced, this episode will be simulcast on Crunchyroll at 7am PDT. If you miss it, you’ll be able to stream it at 8:30 a.m. PDT like all other titles.
Production IG will direct the anime with Tomomi Kamiya and Shigeyuki Miya. Ichiro Oguchi is in charge of series composition. Tetsuya Nishio is the character designer, and Mahiro Maeda and Color Studio are in charge of the creature designs. Theme songs include “Abyss” by YUNGBLUD and Imagine Dragons, and “Nobody” by One Republic, which was featured in the first episode.
