The author of the Dark Gambling series is taking a decidedly different approach in his next manga.
Many manga artists may be known for having one major feature on their resume that is considered a “masterpiece,” but this may mean that a manga artist sticks to one lane during their career. It doesn’t mean anything. The same goes for creator Homura Kawamoto, who is responsible for producing the dark gambling series known as Kakegurui.in creating hero porterKawamoto has created a decidedly different story that not only changes the environment from a classroom to a fantasy world, but also changes the genre.
For those unfamiliar Kakegurui, the series is available as an animated series on Netflix and recently received a spin-off series on the streaming service. In this gambling story, a high school has a class system, and the main character is a new student at the university. The main character, Yumeko Jabami, has a talent for gambling and begins participating in games of chance, often set up by the higher-ups in the system, striving to the top of the charts and often knocking her opponents out of the “game” . Throne”.

hero porter first aired in 2022, but North American anime fans haven’t had a chance to check out this fantasy tale with a protagonist who is more than meets the eye. An animated adaptation of the heroes has not been confirmed as of yet, but we could start the series before it potentially hits the small screen.
