It’s that time of the week again! The Weekly TRP Report is now available! Week 23 of 2024 has seen slight reshuffling in the positions of the top 10 shows across all channels as compared to the previous week. Now that the IPL craze is over, TV shows are slowly returning to pre-IPL viewership levels. Take a look at the top 10 shows that featured in the TRP charts this week:
At the top of the list, “Anupamaa” continues to hold the number one position. Anupamaa, who returns to India from the US to attend Titu and Dimpy’s wedding, has brought about an interesting twist in the series starring Rupali Ganguly. The focus of the show’s current track is on Titu and Dimpy’s wedding celebrations.
Vanraj is convinced that Titu is a more complicated person than he appears to be, despite his attendance at the wedding, and he intends to reveal him to the family soon. It turns out that Titu is the family member who threatened Dimpy’s honour.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s marriage drama seems to have done wonders for the show as it has risen to the second position and overtaken Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin with flying colours to claim the second spot on this week’s TRP charts.
The current theme of the show begins with Abira confessing her love for Armaan as she prepares to leave the city so that she doesn’t have to watch her true love Armaan marry Ruhi. Surprisingly, Armaan also confesses his love for Abira and decides to call off his wedding with Ruhi and marry Abira instead.
Janak has been ranked third in this week’s TRP list. Kulshala Ahuja and Hiba Nawab’s film also had a surprising twist regarding marriage. Anirudh had also planned to marry Arshi, but Janak was again persuaded by Tejas to marry Arshi. It will be interesting to see whether Janak and Anirudh will be able to move on in life.
After a decade, ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ is back and fans are eagerly waiting to see how Ishaan and Savi’s love story will end. This week, the show has secured the fourth position in the TRP list due to the growing curiosity of fans.
In the latest promo, Savi and Ishaan are seen confessing their love for each other and getting married. However, a major tragedy occurs during the wedding, putting an end to Ishaan and Savi’s long-awaited love story. Bhavika Sharma, who fell asleep during the show, remains on the show and is dating actor Hitesh Bharadwaj, who hails from Uttar Pradesh.
After the jump, Shakti Arora, Sumit Singh and other members of the Bhosale family are expected to announce their exit from the show.
