Microsoft today released a new Beta Channel build for Windows Insiders. The new build (22635.3500 of KB5036985) has several new features related to Microsoft Accounts (MSA), as well as other additions and improvements. The complete changelog is below.
Changes and improvements will be gradually rolled out to the beta channel by turning on the toggle*
[Start menu]
- With this update,[スタート]The new account manager will begin rolling out to your menu. When you sign in with your Microsoft account, a new design makes it easy to see the benefits of your account at a glance and manage your account settings.
[Windows Share]
- If your Microsoft account uses a Gmail address, you can now send email to yourself from a Windows sharing window and receive it in your Gmail account.
[Settings]
- To avoid losing access to your Microsoft account,[今すぐ追加]Begins unrolling a new banner with a button. Settings > Account Add a recovery email address to your Microsoft account, if you haven’t already done so. This only appears if you’re signed in with a Microsoft account.
- Introducing new Game Pass Recommended Cards to the Settings homepage. If you’re actively playing games on your PC, you’ll see Game Pass Recommended Cards on your Settings homepage. Note: The Settings home page only appears in Home and Pro editions of Windows 11 if you’re signed in to Windows with a Microsoft account.

Widget board improvements
We’re introducing a new navigation bar on the left that lets you switch between dedicated widget dashboards and other integrated dashboards like Discover. As part of this change, we’re introducing the ability for developers to send notifications to taskbar buttons on custom dashboards in widget boards. Developers can review this documentation on how to implement this functionality in their widget dashboards.To manage notifications from multiple dashboards, the widget allows you to[ウィジェット]You can also have more control over the content that appears on the button.[ウィジェット設定]>[通知]You can enable or disable taskbar notifications from individual dashboards by going to . [Widgets]
- To make taskbar icons more clear, change the taskbar to[ウィジェット]We’ve made some improvements to buttons and are also rolling out a larger set of animated icons.
Known issues
[General]
- We are investigating an issue that may cause Internet Information Services (IIS) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) to stop working after you install this update.
- [NEW] We’re working on a fix for an issue where copying text would cause the settings to crash in certain cases. As a workaround, if you are affected, please use Snipping Tool’s text extraction option for now.
[Copilot in Windows*]
Windows Insiders in the beta channel who are using Copilot with the updated Windows experience, which introduces the ability for Copilot to behave like a regular application window, may experience the following known issues.
- [NEW] We are aware of reports from insiders in the Canary, Dev, and Beta channels of Copilot unexpectedly auto-starting after a PC restart. This issue will be fixed soon and is unrelated to the auto-launch experience that Insiders in the Canary and Dev channels tried in early February and stopped rolling out in March.
- Voice access does not work reliably in Copilot, an updated version of Windows Experience that introduced the ability for Copilot to behave like a regular application.
- Writing to Copilot using Windows Ink does not work with the updated Copilot in Windows Experience.
[Widgets]
- [NEW] We’re working on a fix for an issue that causes widgets to crash for some Insiders when interacting with widget boards.
Windows Insiders in the beta channel may experience the following known issues if the new position of the widget entry point is on the left-aligned taskbar.
- Widget swipe calls may not work if the taskbar is centered instead of left aligned.
- If your taskbar is centered instead of left-aligned, you may not be able to unpin widgets from the taskbar.
- Widget boards are not positioned correctly when Copilot is in parallel mode.
- Turning widgets on/off in taskbar settings may cause the taskbar to update.
