Throughout the year, our community of connoisseurs, collectors, and adventure seekers host unforgettable gatherings in and around Napa Valley, providing opportunities to build meaningful and lasting relationships. Benefits include private dinners with world-renowned chefs, the LNV Private Reserve Bottling Program, rare wine releases, international vacations, and more. Luminary draws inspiration from the great dinners formed by the Napa Valley winemaker’s founder, his parties and social circle, led by Carlton McCoy, master sommelier and CEO of Lawrence Wine Estates.

McCoy, along with the winemakers at Lawrence Wine Estates, look forward to connecting with members during the Luminary Collective Harvest Celebration. This weekend marks a significant kickoff to Napa Valley’s much-anticipated Harvest Season, with bespoke experiences taking place at Ink Glade, Burgess, Stony Hill and Heights Cellar from Friday, August 30th through Sunday, September 1st. Members in particular are invited to the third session. The annual La Pore will be held at Stony Hill in fall 2024, where the winery will pay homage to historic Burgundian tradition with a feast celebrating the bounty of the harvest.
Outstanding and unique services for Luminary members include: LNV Private Reserve Bottling ProgramThis includes a personalized custom blending session with a respected LWE winemaker and culminates in an assignment of 25 cases of private label Napa Valley wines. Participants will work with winemakers to source grapes from estates of their choice and create wine from renowned vineyards such as Heitz’s Cellar, Burgess, and Stony Hill.
Luminary offers two tiers of membership, giving guests access to the best wines, events, and international travel. - The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection: As a first offering, McCoy will host a 10-night international wine experience from Barcelona to Lisbon in October 2024 aboard the company’s second superyacht, Irma. This voyage will feature a wine-paired dinner showcasing Lawrence Wine Estates, along with tastings and winery visits. Land in some of the world’s greatest wine regions. Lawrence Wine Estates developed the curated itinerary in collaboration with partner Palea Travel, which specializes in ultra-luxury experiential travel programs.
- Lexus: LWE Napa is a portfolio-wide sponsor that provides benefits such as transportation between facilities and event activations for Luminary members.
- Black River Caviar, Urbani Truffles, and Michelin Award-winning Chef Johnny Black at Chez Noir, featured in Luminary’s first intimate dinner series. For the first time, wines from Heights Cellar, Stony Hill, Burgess, Inc. His Grade, and Haines Vineyards will be showcased in one dinner, offering an unforgettable five-course tasting menu expertly paired with only the best vintages. Ta.
