Boise, Idaho (ABC4) — Chad Daybell’s murder trial entered its fourth day on Tuesday, April 16.
On Monday, prosecutors questioned detectives about the day the bodies of Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7, and Tyree Ryan, 16, were found on Daybell’s property. Detectives detailed Daybell’s actions in a picture that showed he knew he was being arrested that day. But Daybell’s defense argued that Daybell was understandably nervous as more than 20 law enforcement officers were searching his property.
The issue of Tammy Daybell’s death was also discussed with prosecutors, who sought an explanation as to why her body was exhumed even though her cause of death was listed as “natural causes.” Detectives said she had no “serious medical conditions,” but the defense argued there was a history of heart disease in her family.
