Vodafone today announced that Marika Oramo has been appointed CEO of Vodafone Business, effective July 1, 2024. She will also become a member of Vodafone’s Executive Committee from the same day. Marika is highly regarded as a business leader and she has over 25 years of experience in her IT industry worldwide.
She joins from global enterprise company SAP, where she served as Chief Business Officer for the EMEA region. In this role, Marika was responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for her SAP product portfolio across 89 countries and managing 14,000 employees.
Marika joined SAP in 1999 and has since held various leadership roles including COO EMEA North, Managing Director for the Nordics and Baltics, Global COO for SAP Database and Data Management in the US, and Interim President for the EMEA Region. I have fulfilled the following. .

Vodafone’s business is growing across all segments due to strong public sector demand and increasing customer adoption of new digital services such as cloud, security and IoT.
