Microsoft has promised to make all Microsoft 365 apps available on Apple Vision Pro, but at launch it focused on its core applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Now the company has announced that Microsoft OneNote has joined the list.
“Apple Vision Pro gives OneNote an infinite canvas of spatial computing, delivering incredible multitasking in Word, Excel, and teams of all sizes,” Microsoft’s Greg MacEachern said in a blog post. .”
However, there are also limitations. OneNote for Apple Vision Pro is intended only for personal accounts and work accounts that are not managed by your organization.
It’s not clear if Microsoft intends to address this, but it has released details of other missing features currently in development. Specifically, users still cannot insert images from the camera and Copilot is not available.
According to Microsoft, two-factor authentication with Microsoft Authenticator is not yet available for Apple Vision Pro.
The news that Microsoft is expanding its note-taking app to Apple Vision Pro comes as the first information about new features coming to rival Apple Notes was announced. Mathematical notation and audio recording capabilities are rumored to be added, both of which are already present in OneNote.
