AI chatbots can help users with everything from composing emails to solving complex math equations. However, getting the most help from chatbots requires some skill, and Microsoft has announced Copilot Lab to share all its tips and tricks.

On Thursday, Microsoft announced Copilot Lab via X. It combines the company’s best resources, including training videos and ready-made prompts, all on one page to help users get the most out of their Copilot experience.
When users visit the landing page, they see instructional videos that teach them the basics of Microsoft’s AI assistant, with titles like “Introducing Copilot,” “What you can do with Copilot,” and “Getting started with Copilot.” These guides focus on what users can do. Copilot for Microsoft 365 It’s not a standalone chatbot from Microsoft.
Below you’ll see example prompts that demonstrate the extent to which Copilot can help you through various Microsoft 365 apps, such as creating quizzes in OneNote, composing emails in Outlook, and adding images in PowerPoint. Users can click on the prompt and copy and paste it into their respective apps.

Although this lab focuses specifically on Copilot for Microsoft for 365, if you are new to AI chatbots, including Copilot, some aspects of the lessons can be broadly used for any AI chatbot. Microsoft has many products that fall under the Copilot umbrella, including a standalone chatbot called Copilot, Copilot Pro (home), Copilot for Microsoft 365 (work), Copilot for Windows 11, and Copilot for Microsoft Edge.
