After a big hint last weekend that this would happen, Microsoft has now officially confirmed that it will be rolling out the Copilot GPT Builder feature for users who have purchased a Copilot Pro subscription.
Michael Schechter, vice president of Microsoft’s Bing division, posted a message on his X (formerly Twitter) account late Friday, hinting that Copilot GPT Builder will be rolled out to more Copilot Pro members.
Today, Jordi Ribas, Head of Engineering and Product for Copilot and Bing at Microsoft, said: I posted my message to Xwe have confirmed that Copilot GPT Builder is accessible to all Copilot Pro subscribers.

Microsoft also has a new support page for the tool on its Copilot Lab site. At this time, Copilot GPT Builder is listed as only available on PC. However, custom chatbots created with this tool can be shared with other users. You can also use custom chatbots that others have created and shared, even if you don’t have a Copilot Pro subscription.
Some have already started sharing their own chatbots. One of them, “Richard”, shared a link to his chatbot, Bread Assistant, which is supposed to answer any questions about bread.
Microsoft currently charges $20 per month to sign up for Copilot Pro. Includes access to Copilot GPT Builder, plus use of OpenAI’s most powerful LLM, OpenAI’s GPT-4 Turbo, and his Copilot AI Assistant for Microsoft’s productivity apps like Word, PowerPoint, and more.
